MUSIC VIDEO OF THE WEEK: Beth Jackson, Skaties

This one's a throwback to the first release from Sydney kid Beth Jackson (who is currently based over in Manchester with their band the Whale Tails!).

Jackson delivers a folk spin on Aussie indie rock in Skaties, who co-directed the video with cinematographer Zeke Collins.

‘Skaties was my first ever release and the video was a passion project,’ Jackson says.

'Watching back a few years on is like watching a time capsule. I haven't been back to Australia in two years, yet watching this video makes me feel like we made it yesterday!'

The track is about feeling the full weight of the world for the first time, growing up and finding yourself while surrounded by the big city hustle.
