MUSIC VIDEO OF THE WEEK: Fox Valli, Oopsie Daisy

Sydney artist Fox Valli presents a highly engaging love story in a video produced by a three-person crew on a shoestring budget.

‘At the heart of this music video is the idea that it’s never too late to change your mind or follow a path you choose for yourself,’ Fox Valli says.

The intent was to create something she had never seen in music videos before.

‘A sapphic story with a happy ending!' she says.

‘We took as much inspiration as we could from niche lesbian movies/sapphic stories, (and) early 2000s music videos, shooting on old digi cams to get more of a nostalgic feeling.'

The approach to the video is the perfect match for the beautifully analogue-leaning sound of the track.
