Perth artist Harmony Romsloe delves into the underbelly of everyday life with the video for Spring, a comforting tune of whimsy, until you listen closely to the lyrics.

‘There is uneasiness in the crux of what it’s about,’ Romsloe says, ‘which I try my best to capture with empathy and a strong pull to bear witness to what is happening underneath the lightness of Australiana.'

The video depicts familiar scenes of everyday Australian life, making use of mirroring and kaleidoscope effects.

‘For the music video, I wanted to capture the feeling of living in a stable home, somewhere between comfort and chaos to reflect the story of Spring,' she says.
