MUSIC VIDEO: JASPER, Candy

Exciting new electro-pop artist JASPER's debut single Candy is accompanied by a sumptuous music video that is entirely DIY made.

With a background in costume design and film making, it was only natural that JASPER would make the props, costumes, and sets, and even direct the video.

‘I’ve made music videos for other musicians, and was very excited to finally make one of my own,’ JASPER says.

The video features three female icons of popular culture - Carrie (from Carrie), Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz, and Marie Antoinette. 

‘These three women all share an unfair or misunderstood ending to their narrative, and I thought they deserved a re-write,’ JASPER says.

‘So that’s what we did.’
