The 2025 HOMEGROWN HUNDRED  - all will be revealed!

We've been busy tallying up your votes in the inaugural HOMEGROWN HUNDRED and we can confirm we have a valid result, ready to reveal to you starting from 9am this Friday, 30 January, 2026!

As a countdown of the top-voted Aussie songs of 2025, with no restrictions on who could vote (any age, any location) or who you could vote for (any genre, any career stage) - and as the first time this countdown has ever been run - the final results are a wonderfully eclectic mix reflecting the talent and diversity of Australian artists, and the qualities Australians from all walks of life value in contemporary Australian music.

When is the countdown?

From 9am on Friday, January 30, 2026 through to 4.30pm on Sunday, February 1, 2026!

More about the voting system

Voters submitted a form, listing up to ten songs in order of preference.

Points were allocated Eurovision-style, with 12 points for song #1 and 10 points for song #2, then from 8 points running down to 1 point for songs #3 to #10 respectively.

All invalid votes were discounted (i.e. those without a valid email address, and those attempting to vote more than once).

Each artist's appearance in the countdown has been capped to one song (their top-voted song!) to ensure the greatest variety for listeners and exposure for artists!
