Voting for the inaugural HOMEGROWN HUNDRED is moving into its final week, so make sure you get your votes in before it’s too late!
We have already seen an incredible number of votes come through, and the countdown is shaping up to be an exciting combination of established and emerging acts.
More than 1,150 songs have received votes to date, in a countdown where there are no shortlists - when voting, you're able to list up to ten of your favourite tracks, whether they’re from internationally recognised names or those still treading the local scene.
The voting is extremely tight, with four songs tied for the 100th spot, and only two votes separating the songs currently placed second and third.
The 2025 HOMEGROWN HUNDRED is a public-voted countdown of original Australian songs that have been released over the past year.
The countdown of the top-voted 100 songs will be revealed on the Grassroots Earworm Instagram over the period of Friday, January 30, 2026 through to Sunday, February 1, 2026.
Voting closes on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at 5pm AEDT.
